Workshops with The Napier Group
Leading and facilitating your team
First, a few key
questions:
1. Can you learn to lead a team from attending lectures?
2. Can you learn to build a team from reading books?
3. Can you create trust in a team from talking about it?
4. Can you learn to motivate others from slides?
No. You learn about teams by experiencing teams - by being part of a team, and by seeing new approaches and how they work.
With this workshop, you’ll start to work differently as a leader. Using the best of what we’ve learned over the last 30 years, we’ll give you more options as a leader.
We’ve worked with hundreds of groups and teams – helping them improve performance, build trust and motivate others. That’s our business, and we do it exceptionally well.
No doubt your organisation is already largely team-based. That’s why we adapt and customise our work to begin where you are now, rather than from some notional point of where you ‘should’ be.
Our workshops are born directly from the issues you face, with your team, in your day-to-day drive for results. Teams are complex and difficult, and few leaders have the training to lead them towards optimal performance. Let us help you address every possible conflict that teams like yours must resolve.
By the end of Day 3 of our Introductory Workshop, you will never work with a group or team the same way again.
We begin with the fundamentals:
- Provide tools, techniques and strategies
- Provide ‘design’ skills to help you increase your ability to intervene, change direction, and move from dysfunctional to effective and productive.
- Assess the health of your team and take actions to correct and improve performance.
- Move from awareness and knowledge to practical application.
